Manipulating Arm

A manipulating arm is suspended from a vertical axis column which can be floor, overhead, carriage or bench top mounted. The parallelogram of this unit maintains the attitude of the work load throughout the vertical travel of the arm. A manipulating arm has a maximum of two vertical axis pivots, and is available with a variety of options. These options include end of arm pivots, rotates, leveling plates, and linear travel shafts which support the tooling or end effector.

This tool is an excellent choice in material handling or torque absorbing applications, this unit is used where a horizontal reach from the centerline of the support column and runways or pedestal is required.
